we work with the tools we have to express what we feel. the sounds are a means of expression, not a religion, not an outfit to wear. they are inherent to our being. they change constantly with us. they are not a decoration - we are the sounds and the images, and they are us. this is not a rhetorical truth - it is true in practice, in every day of our lives in every single moment, no matter how mundane or large.

nihilism offers no way out. irony cannot reach beyond itself. fascism ultimately uses destruction against others as a means to destroy the self. techno-utopianism believes in the market, not in humanity. none of them provide real territory for the soul - there is a point to which they find unspeakable things they cannot reach. no religion of aesthetics or commodities can hold up to the power of the bigger mysteries of life. these mysteries are vast and we must strive to find better tools to capture them with.
